The hotel offers large and comfortable Japanese-style rooms with bamboo mats and futon beds, making the stay much more comfortable. Although the uphill location provides magnificent views of Lake Kawaguchiko, the lack of frequent shuttle service can be inconvenient.
Staying at this hotel was an authentic Japanese experience with rooms featuring futon beds and bamboo flooring, offering a stunning view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the common areas and hot baths provided picturesque views of the mountains and lake.
The hotel rooms need a touch-up renovation to feel more modern but were perfect for a birthday treat. The service was excellent, especially the free shuttle service and welcome drink. The location is right next to the cable car station for a stunning view of Kawaguchiko and Fuji mountain, though the Ryokan and Onsen experiences may not meet high expectations. The dining experience offered wonderful, high-quality Japanese food, perfect for starting the day with a variety of flavors.
